6th-8th Grade Math Activity: Line Graph Example
If you know a quantity and a time period you can make a line graph to determine the amount at any given time. Put the time on the X or horizontal axis and the quantity on the Y or vertical axis.
In this activity learn how you can use a line graph to determine the slope. The slope is the amount that each animal eats per day. Challenge yourself by using your own numbers to determine the slope.
